Job Description:
A Managing Quantity Surveyor (Contractor) is sought for a medium-sized contractor based in North Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly, interim, and final valuations, applications for payment, reconciliations of valuations and costs, and amounts for contract, sub-contractors, specialists, and suppliers.
* Provide necessary information for accurate and regular review of cash flow and position on contracts.
* Examine contract documents, highlighting any anomalies.
* Prepare and agree interim and final valuation dates with client representatives.
* Take off necessary quantities in advance of Estimating, Procurement, and Planning Department requirements.
* Prepare contract final accounts for each completed section of works, including adjustments, and submit for agreement with client representatives.
* Record details involving contractual delays.
* Manage and coach contract surveyors, assistant surveyors, and junior surveyors who report to them.
Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience preferably with a main contractor.
* Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Residential, RC Frame, Retail/Commercial, Pharma, Data-centre, Hi-Tech).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
