As a member of the Generation Cybersecurity Team, this role will support the Generation Cybersecurity Manager to protect Generation from cybersecurity risks and enhance Generation's compliance with regulatory obligations such as the NIS Directive.
This role will collaborate with the OT Cybersecurity Team (EMP) and local competent persons to develop and implement security measures and procedures to ensure compliance with ESB cybersecurity policy and external legislation.
The role will also involve promoting an awareness of strategic initiatives and encouraging self-sustaining security practices and behaviours within Generation teams.
Key Responsibilities Support the development of cybersecurity procedures and baselines in conjunction with the OT Cybersecurity Manager and local competent persons.Conduct and lead comprehensive assessments of security procedures and baselines against applicable regulations, laws, policies and standards.Collaborate with broader IT and Generation teams to embed new processes and procedures into the Generation business with appropriate governance.Engage with business, measure KPIs and run engagements supporting completion of corrective action plans.Active involvement in overall cybersecurity governance to adhere to the operating model.Lead bi-weekly meetings along with the OT Cybersecurity lead (EMP) from all areas to discuss security concerns on a common platform.Co-ordinate the flow of information from and to local competent persons related to cybersecurity incidents.Align cybersecurity risk management to the generation LTAP process.Experience and Qualifications 5 years' experience in a cyber, OT or IT role3rd level qualification in IT, engineering or a science-based disciplineWorking knowledge of the NIS DirectiveLocation This position will be based in Fitzwilliam 27, Dublin, with occasional travel to ESB generation assets as required.
