Experience: 3+years Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required Our client is a leading Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance operator working on Dublin Motorway networks.
The role of the Network Civil Engineer is to support the Renewals and Liaison Manager and the Lead Network Engineer in the delivery of Motorway Contracts and directly managing sections of the contract as allocated, including public lighting maintenance and Instructed Works Orders.
Managing the Public Lighting maintenance.
Managing the Vehicle Restraint System replacement (Costings, Training etc).
Managing of work orders, this will include the following: Preparing contractor requests, monthly measures and final costs; Preparation of method statements and preparation of permit to works; Road space booking and Gantry Bookings; Submitting MAR approvals; Managing direct and sub-contractor workforces; Inspection of site works and quality control; Updating RMMS; Responsible for the implementation and control of the procurement system; Providing cover for the Support Engineer during absence; Assist with the Department's Sections of the Monthly Operations Report; On call duties as required.
Requirements Full, clean 'B' Driving license essential Relevant Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent Understanding and practical knowledge of managing civil engineering projects, stakeholder liaison, health & safety regulations and coordination of works following best practice Meticulous approach to administration and record keeping 3 years of operations and maintenance experience - an advantage Winter maintenance experience an advantage Traffic management experience an advantage Excellent communication and IT skills Package Competitive Salary - Negotiable dependent on relevant experience and qualifications, Company Vehicle, Bonus, Pay Protection Insurance.
