CPL in conjunction with The Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) is seeking a Staff Grade Psychologist to work with children and young people (0-18) with a range of complex needs. The role will involve interdisciplinary team working and family-centred practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To psychologically assess clients referred to the CDNT
* To deliver professional psychology services appropriate to the post in line with best practice
* To communicate in a skilled, sensitive, and accessible manner with children, families, and other stakeholders concerning assessment, formulation, and treatment plans
* To comply with the policies, procedures, and safe professional practice of the Irish Healthcare System by adhering to relevant legislation, regulations, and standards
* Hold a minimum QQI Level 8 qualification in Psychology
* Have an Irish post-graduate qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in clinical, counselling, or educational psychology or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health
* Qualifications for this position obtained outside the Republic of Ireland must be validated at the time of application. The application for this post must be inclusive of a letter of validation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong command of English
* Demonstrate competence and capability of undertaking the duties attached to the office
