With a strong international presence and a rapidly growing team, we are committed to delivering an innovative and dynamic work environment.About the RoleWe are seeking a Legal Counsel (EU) to provide legal support across Ireland and the EU, ensuring compliance with European consumer law, EU privacy regulations, and Irish labor law. This is a newly created position where you will work independently while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure Digistore24’s continued success in the European market.This role is 100% remote but requires the candidate to be based in Ireland, preferably in Dublin.What You’ll DoProvide legal guidance on all matters related to Digistore24’s Irish reseller operations and broader EU compliance.Ensure adherence to Irish labor law, EU consumer protection regulations, and GDPR compliance.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, and legal documents.Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Operations, HR, Compliance, Marketing, and Product) to ensure legal alignment across business practices.Handle risk assessment and dispute resolution in contractual and regulatory matters.Stay up to date with changing Irish and EU regulations and proactively implement necessary legal adaptations.Provide internal training on key legal topics to ensure compliance awareness across departments.What We’re Looking ForMust-Have Qualifications:2+ years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or in a legal advisory role.Proficiency in both Irish and EU law – particularly in consumer protection, privacy (GDPR), and labor law.Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills for commercial agreements.Ability to explain complex legal topics simply and clearly.Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and preferred German (C2).Must be based in Ireland, preferably in Dublin.Nice-to-Have:Good written and verbal communication skills in German (C2 level preferred) but not required.Experience with contract law and negotiations in an e-commerce or SaaS environment.Familiarity with regulatory variations across different EU countries.Good understanding of VAT and taxation intricacies related to both digital and physical products, including cross-border transactions.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionLegalIndustriesTechnology, Information and Internet
