Meeting & Events Senior Sales Executive Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Meeting & Events Senior Sales Executive in the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley Objective of the Role Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Senior Meeting & Events Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for maximising the sales potential and achieving the Meeting & Events sales targets of hotel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities To proactively generate meeting and events enquiries for the team.
To work with the proactive and reactive sales teams to deliver meetings and events budgeted revenue weekly/monthly Updating the revenue board on a weekly basis Managing the payment structure for all events; attending weekly PM meetings To give input on activity and new ideas to generate revenue to the quarterly and annual sales and marketing plan To conduct site inspections on the property with potential clients Managing Trust You feedback and feedback from all our clients and working with other departments if needed with the feedback received To negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs.
To close prospects as confirmed bookings and maximise all revenue potential by upselling in all revenue producing areas.
Manage third party Cvent enquiries key market in 2025 Manage larger residential conference bookings over 120pax Review function sheets at the start of every week; sitting with the team; making the necessary amendments in time for the weekly function sheet meeting Requirements: 1 2 years previous event sales or coordinating experience in a hotel or venue Experience working with customers An excellent command of the English language Excellent organisational skills Possess the ability to see an opportunity act on it to secure revenue for the Hotel.
Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
High level of creativity.
