This role is based in the head office of a growing childcare facility chain in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. As Operations Manager, you will lead the facilities management and administrative teams, ensuring efficient operations and regulatory compliance for 22 services across 15 locations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in operations, facilities, or administrative management who thrives on leadership and driving efficiency. The position involves significant coordination with government bodies such as Tusla, EHO, and Pobal, ensuring all facilities meet strict compliance and funding requirements. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, skilled at managing teams and balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will have a proven ability to streamline operations, maintain high standards, and foster collaboration across diverse teams. Key Duties Leadership: Manage the facilities management and administrative teams, ensuring high performance and clear communication across all locations. Compliance Oversight: Liaise with government bodies, including Tusla, EHO, and Pobal, to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Administration: Oversee administrative functions such as funding applications, customer communications, and marketing efforts. Facilities Management: Coordinate daily facilities operations, including scheduling maintenance tasks, overseeing procurement, and managing contractor relationships. Process Improvement: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Regulatory and Financial Accountability: Maintain accurate records for government funding schemes, including HIVE, Core Funding, and grants. Requirements Essential Skills and Experience: Operations Management: Proven experience in leading multi-functional teams and ensuring regulatory compliance. Facilities Management: Practical knowledge of facilities operations, contractor coordination, and procurement. Administrative Leadership: Expertise in managing administrative systems, developing policies, and improving efficiency. Regulated Sectors: Background in childcare, education, corporate services, or similar fields requiring compliance. Key Competencies: Leadership: Ability to inspire, motivate, and align teams towards common goals. Compliance Expertise: Familiarity with Tusla, EHO, and Pobal regulatory frameworks. Organisational Skills: Capable of prioritising tasks across multiple locations in a fast-paced environment. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative tools.
