Business Analyst Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to partner with our leading Irish FMCG brand in Cork. This is a permanent position, focusing on Oracle Systems projects and implementations.
Position Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement IT solutions aligning with strategic initiatives.
2. Provide advice on innovative, scalable, and reusable IT solutions to meet evolving business needs.
3. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to existing systems.
4. Identify and manage risks associated with system-related change projects.
5. Ensure compliance with Group IT policies, including Change Control Documentation, Approval processes, and Call Logging procedures.
Operational & Project Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage projects through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery within budget.
2. Coordinate and assist in all phases of testing, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
3. Work closely with the Technical Team to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
4. Analyze and resolve software issues, identifying root causes and implementing both immediate solutions and long-term preventive measures.
5. Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on Oracle products and implementations.
* Proven experience in designing and delivering IT solutions in a multi-location business environment.
* Strong understanding of software development requirements and use case creation.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues.
