About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed client, a leading company in the construction industry, as a Construction Sales Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for increasing overall sales, profits, and market position through strategic project development and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing comprehensive project specifications and providing technical product information to clients;
* Securing new projects by identifying opportunities in the marketplace and responding to customer requests;
* Managing and developing customer accounts, establishing new relationships, and resolving complaints efficiently;
* Conducting CPD presentations to architects and main contractors, and visiting building sites to gather site surveys;
* Managing orders according to specification, updating the company's CRM system, and working towards specific targets and KPIs;
* Monitoring competition and maintaining professional knowledge through reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional societies;
* Assisting in product and application development, and undertaking training as required.
Requirements:
* A background in the construction industry;
* A qualification in construction or architectural technology would be advantageous;
* Good knowledge of basic construction technology;
* Excellent time management skills, IT proficiency, and experience with CRM and ERP systems;
* Ability to multi-task, with strong attention to detail, and excellent administration, communication, and organisational skills;
* Knowledge and understanding of NBS for high-level specification accuracy.
