Building a sustainable tomorrow An opportunity has arisen in BAM Ireland's office in Kill (County Kildare) for an Occupational Health Assistant Administrator (part-time, 3 days per week) on an initial six months trial basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the occupational health administration for 620 employees.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administration duties and be expected to work independently but will be part of the wider administration team within the Occupational Health Team and will be managed by the Head of Occupational Health who is based in the UK.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisation and communication skills, be flexible and well-motivated, enjoys working with people, engaging with colleagues at all levels and will possess a flexible and positive attitude to work.
Your mission Electronic record keeping and data collection.Coordinating occupational health surveillance site visits and processing the information from those.Arranging onward referral and other occupational health appointments.Process Referrals/Health Questionnaires.Inviting Occupational Health service users for their appointments.Maintenance of shared email in-box.Working to agreed timelines in discussion and guidance from the Senior Occupational Health Administrator and Head of Occupational Health.
Support the Occupational Health team as required.Potential for other general admin/clerical duties in discussion with the HR Director.Occasional travel to work sites and the UK Head Office.Who are we looking for?
Excellent communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.The ability to work independently.
Use of initiative.The ability to work proactively and prioritise workloads accordingly.Previous experience of working in a healthcare related role would be an advantage but is not essential.Previous administration experience is essential and you must be compliant with GDPR and have the ability to maintain confidentiality as you will be responsible for handling sensitive information.Strong ICT packages including word, excel, teams and power point.
