Transport Planner/Administrator – Out of Hours
This is a standalone out-of-hours role for a Transport Planner/Administrator with strong administrative skills and experience in transport planning or scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and adjust transport schedules to ensure smooth operations.
* Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and clients during out-of-hours.
* Handle issue resolution to minimise operational disruptions.
* Maintain accurate records of transport activities.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations.
* Prepare reports and assist with general administration.
Requirements:
* Strong administration skills with experience in transport or logistics planning preferred.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Comfortable working independently in an out-of-hours role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport management systems is beneficial.
* Knowledge of transport regulations (e.g. Working Time Directive, Tachograph rules) is an advantage.
