Full job description Role Introduction: The AA is embarking on an exciting growth and transformation phase and is seeking to recruit a Operations Manager to lead the Patrol team, ensuring patrol performance targets are met, processes are kept in line and up to standards as well as meeting and surpassing objectives that are set out.
This role will form part of the AA Roadside Team and will report to the Head of Roadside Operations.
The successful candidate will be a highly driven, adaptable and confident people person who can thrive in a rapidly changing organisation and will adopt a hands-on approach to their role.

Work location: The role will be based in the ROC (Rescue Operations Centre) office in Ballymount.
However, the successful candidate will be fully eligible for the AA's remote working, hybrid working and flexible working policies.
Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following: Manage the team lead and patrols to ensure maximum productivity is achieved.
Achieve operational KPI's through effective management of rostering, absence management, annual leave and headcount management.
Convert strategy and change into operational execution.
Ensure performance metrics are achieved through demand management, forecasting and capacity.
Manage and/or assist on departmental projects and initiatives as required to develop and enhance the current processes within the department to enhance future viability.
Engage team lead and patrols through regular communication, social engagement events to improve workplace environment.
Ensure patrol pay processes are achieved through contact with people team department with the view of improving on current processes.
Ensure day to day activities are concluded via efficient communication with other road managers.
The Candidate should have the following: Minimum qualifications, experience & skills Qualified LCV mechanic (Fetac level 6) an advantage, not a requirement Previous foreman experience or leading a team of technicians a plus A strong background in the motor industry, a recovery environment would be an advantage Minimum 2 years' experience as lead supervisor or manager in fast paced business demonstrating knowledge in performance management, complaint investigation and team management.
