Production Operative
This is a key role within the manufacturing process, requiring individuals to operate and monitor automatic and semi-automatic machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring goods are produced efficiently and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to guidelines and protocols.
* Quality Records: Accurately record and maintain quality control records.
* Machine Operation: Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines as required.
* Packing: Ensure accurate and efficient packing of finished goods.
* Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
* High-intensity production environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with production personnel.
* Attention to detail: Demonstrate high levels of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
* Time keeping and reliability: Maintain good time keeping and reliability to meet deadlines.
Experience:
* Teamwork: Previous experience working as part of a team is essential.
* Production orientated environment: Working within a production oriented environment is desirable.
* Engineering/plastics sector experience: Advantageous to have experience in the engineering or plastics sector.
