Supplier Relationship Manager - Financial Services
Role Overview: The Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key technology vendors and service providers. This involves effective commercial management, performance oversight, and continuous improvement to maximise value, reduce costs, drive innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement supplier management strategies aligned with business objectives.
2. Understand managing risk, onboarding of suppliers, and relationship management.
3. Experience in the financial services industry and compliance management as required by the CBI.
4. Lead complex negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
5. Build and maintain productive relationships with key suppliers.
6. Assess and optimise supplier performance through reviews and KPIs.
7. Stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies.
8. Champion continuous improvement and innovation in supplier relationships.
9. Identify and manage supplier-related risks and ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Extensive experience in supplier relationship management, procurement, or commercial management, especially in technology environments.
2. Proven success in negotiating and managing complex supplier agreements.
3. Strong understanding of technology and vendor landscapes.
4. Proficiency in supplier performance management metrics and tools.

This is initially for 12 months with a view to extension and on a competitive daily rate.
