Your mission Operate as a senior representative for BAM on projects.
Role model BAM values and behaviours on our projects.
Responsibility for delivering commercial performance on projects.
Be responsible for projects from Tender through to Completion.
Responsibility for health and safety excellence and promote BAM's Safety culture across our projects.
Responsibility for environmental performance on projects.
Direct responsibility for leading and motivating project teams.
Ensuring that the client requirements are being met on projects.
Responsibility for identification and minimisation of key risks and opportunities on projects.
Promote innovative and best practice construction methodologies on projects.
Be responsible for budgeting and cost control on projects.
Attend monthly and quarterly cost review meetings.
Attend regular management meetings.
Lead regular meetings with project teams, clients/customers and other key stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?
Possess an Engineering or Construction Honours Degree.
A considerable amount of experience in the construction industry on large scale civil projects.
Be capable of managing a number of major civil engineering projects concurrently.
Be committed to driving health and safety culture on projects.
Have proven track record in delivering excellent commercial results on projects.
Be capable of leading project teams to deliver to programme and budget.
Have tendering experience in major civil engineering projects.
Be driven and enthusiastic.
Have good technical knowledge of major civil engineering projects.
Have excellent contract awareness.
Possess good problem-solving skills.
Be an excellent communicator.
Contribute to business development and establish/maintain customer relationships.
