Production Manager
Location: Co. Mayo
Salary: €40k - €55k DOE
Hours: Full-time, on-site
Our client, a leading precision engineering company in Co. Mayo, is seeking a Production Manager to oversee and optimise their manufacturing operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in CNC machining and precision engineering, capable of driving efficiency, quality, and team performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets are met for efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
Lead, manage, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement and monitor KPIs to drive operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Work closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to streamline processes and optimise workflow.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions without compromising quality.
Maintain production schedules, adjusting resources as needed to meet demand.
Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges, ensuring minimal downtime.
Support new product introductions and manufacturing process development.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within a precision engineering and CNC machining environment.
Strong understanding of CNC manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality control standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, proactive approach.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
