Job Title: Fund Accountant
PE Global is currently recruiting for a Fund Accountant to work with a leading Government State body based in Dublin City. This is a permanent position that reports to the Finance Manager.
About the Role

Responsibilities:
* Prepare daily and monthly management reporting.
* Prepare daily review and analysis of the Fund NAV and reporting provided by the Custodian.
* Prepare and reconcile accounting journals.
* Track and reconcile daily cash activity, including setting up wire payments and preparing daily cash projections.
* Prepare daily and monthly cash reporting.
* Collate and review the Custodian month end reporting and reconciliations.
* Recalculate Custodian fees.
* Assist in collation of Custodian KPIs.
* Assist in collating/preparing relevant forms and documentation for new market openings.
* Respond to business unit requests in a professional and timely manner.
* Review and process Investor notices and capital account statements.
* Assist with the administration of loans.
* Correspond with General Partners, Investees and Borrowers on queries.
* Assist in collation of fund documentation for tax advisors and investor K-1s review.
* Build and foster internal and external relationships.
* Participate in the continuous development and enhancement of workflows and procedures to reflect the changing control environment.
* Work on Projects / Adhoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
* You will have at least 3 years experience in Fund Accounting, knowledge of Hedge Markets.
* You will be familiar with daily and monthly reporting as well as reviewing and analysing daily NAVs.
* Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) desirable but not essential.
* Experience in a Custodian oversight role is advantageous.
* Experience in the administration and accounting on investments such as quoted and unquoted equities, binds, funds, loans, derivatives etc. is desirable but not essential.
