Purpose of Position:
To deliver the Parent Child+ & Home From Home Programmes in Dublin 1,2,3,4 or 8, including mornings and afternoons Reporting to: Assistant Director of the Early Learning Initiative Supervised by: Parent Child+ Coordinators & Parent Child+
Senior Coordinators Key Relationships:
Parent Child+ Coordinators & Senior Coordinators Director & Assistant Director of Early Learning Initiative ELI Research Department Members of the Home Visiting Team Families on the programme
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver the Parent Child+ programme to individual children and their families through twice weekly home visits including indoor/outdoor visits and video calls Deliver the Home From Home programme to individual children and their families through once weekly home visits in homeless accommodation (hubs, B&B's IPAS centres) Attend and participate in weekly supervision session, in person Take part in home visitor training, both accredited and non-accredited Organise and deliver events for the programme families Prepare and maintain records, reports and/or test data on the programme and participating families Participate in research activities Any other duties as assigned by the Parent Child+ Coordinator & Parent Child+ Senior Coordinator.
Skills and Experience Required:
Relevant qualifications in Early Years' Education and Care (with QQI Level 5 ECCE qualification) desirable Relevant experience of working with young children and families Ability to work closely with and respect marginalised families and understanding of the issues of marginalisation An energetic, confident and pro-active individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills Good time management, administrative and organisational skills and willingness to learn basic IT skills to deliver the programme online Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of site personnel, com munity stakeholders and other outside individuals/organisations Ability to operate as a team player in a cross disciplinary, integrated team, sharing roles and responsibilities Contract: Fixed term, part-time - Subject to on-going funding Salary: ( Support band )
Min to Max € 35, 379 Hours:
Three posts available; 12 hours a week, 15 hours per week and 30 hours per week.
