About the Role
The Product Supervisor is responsible for leading a Product Builder group in achieving its goals in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Supply, Safety and People. Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills are essential, as well as a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process. The role involves implementing lean-manufacturing, productivity and quality-improvement initiatives, and continually seeking opportunities to reduce product costs.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Supervise production teams to ensure targets for Quality, Costs, Delivery, and People are met.
* Evaluate and implement strategies to meet manufacturing-volume requirements, including ensuring On-Time delivery, within budget, and with the correct schedule mix.
* Effectively manage employee performance, providing coaching, counseling, developing, and monitoring employee progress, taking necessary action when required.
* Foster open communication regarding individual, team, and company objectives and performance through regular team meetings and daily interactions on the line.
* Develop Operational plans in conjunction with the Business Unit Leader to align with overall Site and Operations strategy.
* Drive problem-solving initiatives and lead cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance & Supply Chain groups to reduce waste across the business.
* Establish and support a work environment that encourages continuous improvement, adhering to the Quality Policy, Quality System, and relevant regulations.
* Ensure compliance with all company Health and Safety policies and take responsibility for all H&S issues on the shift.
* Develop a training program to achieve optimal cross-training versatility and flexibility while maintaining all H&S requirements.
* Administer duties, including updating metrics, Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, etc.

Your Qualifications
* Metric and Continuous Improvement experience.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to deliver results in a cross-functional team-based environment.
* Proven experience and knowledge of process improvements using lean tools.
* Proven leadership ability within a change management environment.
* Good knowledge of GMP/FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
Your Background
* Minimum of a Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree or relevant qualification (Level 7).
* 3-4 years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience in people management and demonstrated ability in people motivation, organizing, and team building would be an advantage.
