We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee operations at a large construction site in Sandyford. This role requires a candidate with experience working on large construction projects, interactions with multiple contractors and trades people, and a proven track record of time management, people management, communication, and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring work is completed in line with specification and schedule of works
* Co-ordinating and managing subcontractors and on-site trades personnel
* Ensuring all Health, Safety, and Welfare policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
* Attending regular Management and Planning meetings
* Working with the Finance department to ensure that all procurement activities are effectively managed and records are maintained
* Maintaining a full understanding and knowledge of all works ongoing at all times
* Liaising with teams on-site to ensure all hours worked and manpower hours are correctly recorded and communicated
* Oversight of compliance with all relevant regulations
* Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on-site
* Ensuring quality of work from all team members and personnel conducting works on-site
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* 5+ years' experience managing large construction projects of a similar nature
* Qualifications in Project Management or other relevant field (desirable)
* Effective communication and organisational skills
* Time management skills
* Relevant administrative skills
This role is initially a Full-Time 12-month Fixed Term contract, subject to review in line with project progression and completion.
Hours of work are Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday work.
Salary is payable at an hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience.
