MHL Hotel Collection is currently recruiting for a Hotel Groups Reservations Agent to join our expanding Cluster Reservations Team based in The Spencer Hotel, IFSC, Dublin 1. This is an exciting position in a busy reservations department, so we are looking for someone with a passion for customer service and excellent attention to detail.
The Groups Reservations Agent is responsible for the execution of the Group Reservations Departments policies and procedures and manage the day-to-day operations. You will report directly to the Cluster Reservations Manager and the Hotel Revenue Manager.
The role is Monday to Friday with Saturday cover occasionally and office hours 9am to 5.30pm, 10am to 6.30pm or 10.30am to 7pm.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Manage the Group Reservation function ensuring that all groups are quoted in a timely manner (24 hour turn-around), followed-up, confirmed and contracted, payment collected and handed over to Operations.
* Ensure that every enquiry is tracked and followed-up using the tools provided and ensure that there is relevant documentation of all communication with clients.
* Ensure that all groups are entered into Opera correctly with relevant notes, traces and rates.
* To co-ordinate in advance with Hotel Operations any information/queries which concerns them in relation to a group.
* Complete all weekly/monthly group reports necessary to complete the Group Reservations Function.
* Manage all payment and billing information for each group, working with Front Office and Accounts.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess
* Relevant Hospitality experience in Front Office/Reservations with knowledge of Opera PMS highly desirable.
* A professional manner and a great attitude towards providing high levels of customer service.
* A willingness to progress their career with the MHL Hotel Collection.
