An exceptional CFO opportunity for a first-rate finance executive with experience of operating at CFO or Finance Director level within a high-volume, low-margin, fast-paced scaling, multi-site business.
The successful candidate will play an important part of the further profitable growth and expansion of the business.
Reporting directly to the CEO, key aspects of the role will involve:
Strategic Growth Management & Decision Support
Treasury & Cash Management in a working capital-intensive business
Productivity, Performance Management and FP&A
Working closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to improve productivity, maintain margin performance and profitability.
Financial & Management Reporting & Compliance
Ensuring the finance team is operating at the highest professional standards and also adding value in terms of management reporting, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), revealing insights and trends.
Corporate Finance and M&A
Growth has been primarily achieved organically and recently with several acquisitions.
Supporting the CEO with financing growth and expansion, and acquisition due diligence and integrations.
Leadership
Ensuring the finance organisation as a whole is adding value and also contributing to the profitable growth objective.
Candidate Background
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
A Qualified Accountant, with CFO or Finance Director level experience within a relatively large scaling multi-location, complex business generating revenues c. €100m.
Industry experience within a multi-transactional, high-volume, low-margin environment such as Logistics, Sales & Distribution, Supply Chain preferable.
Strategic Commercial Acumen
Experience in strategic planning and driving strategy implementation, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring growth targets are being met while maintaining strong margin improvement.
Forecasting and Treasury Management Skills
FX, cash management, multi-currency.
M&A and fundraising/financing experience beneficial.
Strong Influencing Skills
Systems Savvy.
