An exciting an opportunity with one of key clients here at Morgan McKinley as they seek to hire a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their team in Blanchardstown.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating the shift team on a daily basis to meet operational KPIs and uphold high operational standards in a customer-centric environment.
This role will operate across the following shifts: AM: 6-2, PM: 2-10 and Nights 10-6. These shifts arent rotation of shifts, candidates will be given a shift and will need flexibilty to move to another shift if required.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Logistics:
- Effectively manage shift resources to ensure consistent availability, enabling seamless operations that meet required standards.
- Oversee all warehouse shift activities (days, evenings, nights), ensuring alignment with performance targets and KPIs while maintaining cost control.
- Support recruitment and selection processes to fulfill operational requirements.
- Identify training and development needs aligned with business goals.
- Optimise resource use to drive productivity and operational efficiency.
- Lead and inspire the warehouse shift team to deliver exceptional service standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal operational processes and procedures.
- Foster open communication across operational teams and promote employee engagement in alignment with Musgrave's core values.
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance standards.
Customer Service:
- Monitor and investigate customer claims, implementing corrective actions to reduce recurrence and enhance service quality.
- Liaise with customer representatives to nurture long-term, collaborative partnerships.
- Oversee customer credit processes and collaborate with the telesales team to enhance customer relationship management.
- Ensure uninterrupted service delivery during peak seasonal periods.
Compliance:
- Implement and maintain quality management systems and processes as part of daily operations.
- Monitor warehouse systems to ensure consistent process integrity and stock accuracy.
- Lead improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and ensure alignment with Food Safety standards.
Health & Safety:
- Safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all team members during shifts.
- Conduct operations in compliance with all health and safety regulations, preventing unsafe conduct or practices.
- Enforce strict adherence to H&S, HACCP, and hygiene procedures across the site.
Continuous Operational Improvement:
- Analyse customer claim/error trends, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to drive reductions.
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to minimise workplace incidents.
- Drive initiatives focused on enhancing operational productivity, capacity, and environmental sustainability.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3-5 years in a management or leadership role within a similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams.
- A proven ability to manage resources efficiently to optimise productivity.
