Overview
The Procurement function is responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring the cost-effective procurement of goods and services and managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. A procurement analyst will collaborate with internal departments, review and negotiate vendor contracts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and help ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Principal Responsibilities
Bid and negotiate purchases for a variety of goods and services across multiple categories of spend including software, technology equipment, facility management/real estate related services, HR services, subscriptions, and general supplies.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors, providing solutions, support, and customer service
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing and service levels, while ensuring favorable legal terms and compliance with company policies.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of requisitions and purchase orders
Identify opportunities for consolidation of suppliers and ways to enhance relationships with existing suppliers
Assist with the sourcing and onboarding of new vendors, ensuring adherence of all policies and procedures
Extract and analyze data to support the identification of cost savings, process efficiency, and risk mitigation opportunities.
Monitor and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
Qualifications/Skills Required
Bachelor's Degree (business related)
2+ years of indirect procurement experience
Sourcing and procurement experience in both technology and non-technology categories of spend
Driven, innovative, results-oriented and persistent with a positive attitude and high interest in problem solving.
Experience with Oracle or Procure-to-Pay systems
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation to uncover relevant information and identify solutions.
Quick learner, detail oriented and strong ownership of work. Ability to establish working relationships with all levels of staff, management and vendors
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a structured manner
Able to prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency
Team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
