Job Description
As a Safety and Health Engineer/Safety Professional, you will work on a wide range of projects across the country in the role of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP). This position may also involve working on projects where we have been appointed as health and safety coordinator by the PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Discharge the role of PSDP on construction sites.
2. Attend client/design and site meetings.
3. Prepare preliminary safety and health documents.
4. Compile and prepare safety files.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections.
6. Report on legal cases concerning health and safety.
7. Work with contractors PSCS to discharge the role of PSCS on construction sites.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or a related design discipline with recognized Safety and Health training (post-graduate Diploma level preferred but not essential).
* At least 4 years of experience in a related field.
* Occupational health and safety qualification and/or experience.
* PSCS training and experience.
