Operations Manager - Donegal 4* Hotel
My client, a 4* Hotel in Donegal, is seeking an experienced & motivated Operations Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Operations Manager will be in a hands-on role, primarily responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day F&B and C&B operation of the Hotel. To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will enjoy the prospect of working in a multi-outlet, fast-paced, busy working environment and, ideally, have experience in a large 4* Hotel with multiple outlets and a strong F&B and Event business.
The Candidate:
1. Solid hands-on Hotel management experience in a 4* or 5* Hotel environment preferably as a Food & Beverage Manager or Operations Manager.
2. Hands-on experience in Hotel operations, specifically, Food & Beverage and Conference & Banqueting.
3. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of commercial and financial knowledge including budgeting and forecasts.
4. Passionate about standards and provision of excellence in hospitality.
5. Ability to lead and motivate a strong team of Departmental Managers and drive inclusiveness throughout the organisation.
6. Strong personality and ability to promote fun through work ethos.
7. Ability to apply a common-sense approach to problem-solving and foresight to anticipate and prevent problems from developing.
8. Ability to communicate at all levels.
9. Impeccable leadership and management skills, a strong work ethic with an emphasis on effective communication practices.
10. Keen understanding of Hotel related laws and regulations including Health & Safety, Fire & Employment Law.
