Major Programmes Consultant/Senior Consultant
About the Role
Assist with end-to-end design and development of programmes, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives. Oversee programme scope, timelines, budget, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Understand client needs and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
* Ensure that project teams are aligned on objectives and deliverables.
* Support in the development of plans, managing critical paths and interdependencies.
* Lead project kick-off meetings, set expectations, and guide teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
* Oversee and allocate resources effectively across programmes, ensuring optimal utilisation.
* Manage programme budgets, track financial performance, and ensure controls are in place for profitability and successful delivery.
* Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to senior management.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within programmes and consulting practices.
* Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
* Experience in Project Management Office (PMO), including understanding the development of plans, governance, reporting, RAID (Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency) management, and project tools.
* Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating in fast-paced environments.
* Experience of managing large, complex programmes across multiple industries.
* Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and profitability.
* High level of adaptability and resilience in the face of change.
