Site Manager Excel are thrilled to be partnering with an award-winning Irish multi-disciplined Building and Civil Engineering Contractor in hiring an experienced Site Manager to be based in North Dublin on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager will oversee all on-site activities to ensure that project timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality objectives are met. This role involves collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities for Site Manager Project Coordination: Oversee daily site operations and ensure project schedules are adhered to. Coordinate activities with contractors, subcontractors, and team members. Monitor progress and make adjustments to meet timelines and budgets. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on project status and challenges. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety standards and lead on-site safety meetings. Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions as needed. Quality Assurance: Inspect work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards. Resolve defects and manage quality control documentation. Resource Management: Plan and allocate resources, including labour, materials, and equipment. Coordinate material deliveries and maintain inventory records. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor site teams to foster a positive and productive work culture. Provide on-site training and manage labour allocation. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports. Ensure timely completion of site paperwork and communicate project risks or delays to senior management. Requirements for Site Manager Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in site management or similar roles. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software, Microsoft Office, and construction blueprints. Leadership: Strong organisational and leadership skills to manage diverse teams. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to project changes. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
