In the UK & I we employ over 500 people across 5 sites and work with over 60k customers including blue chip companies such as The Post Office, Five Guys & Trainline.
About the Role
1. Provide strong leadership of the UK&I finance and pricing function.
2. Work directly with the UK&I MD and be a key member of the senior leadership team.
3. Set the financial direction of the business through the creation, control, monitoring, and achievement of performance to budget and monthly forecasts.
4. Be a key member of the global Business Financial Services (BFS) team, meeting corporate deadlines for regular reporting and ad hoc requests.
5. Business partner closely with the MD and sales management team to set and deliver annual sales targets.
6. Proactively drive collaboration across functional areas such as data analytics, sales operations, pricing, and scheme management to elevate financial management and reporting.
7. Review and assess all business cases that require capital outlay, highlighting key benefits and risks.
8. Lead and inspire a team of 15 across FP&A and pricing, ensuring development and career progression opportunities.
9. Understand the regulatory obligations and liabilities of the Finance Director role and ensure oversight of associated financial risks.
10. Develop and maintain appropriate pricing governance frameworks.
About You
1. 8 years plus PQE experience in relevant FP&A roles.
2. Financial leadership experience, with a curious and proactive outlook to problem resolution.
3. Strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
4. Proven ability to build relationships, influence, and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership.
5. Ability to interface regularly with business leaders and articulate complex issues and solutions.
6. Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce and uses differences in perspective to add value to decision making and organizational success.
