About the Role
In addition to providing strong leadership of the UK&I finance and pricing function, the successful candidate will work directly with the UK&I MD and be a key member of the senior leadership team, including responsibility for the following areas:
1. Setting the financial direction of the business, through the creation, control, monitoring and achievement of performance to budget and monthly forecasts, as well as longer term strategic plans for the UK&I and International Acquiring business units
2. Being a key member of the global Business Financial Services (BFS) team, meeting corporate deadlines for regular reporting, as well as ad hoc requests
3. Business partnering closely with the MD and sales management team to set and deliver annual sales targets
4. Pro actively driving collaboration across functional areas such data analytics, sales operations, pricing and scheme management team to elevate financial management and reporting
5. Reviewing and assessing all business cases that require capital outlay, highlighting key benefits and risks to ensure the business is making well informed decisions
6. Leading and inspiring a team of 15 people across FP&A and pricing, ensuring development and career progression opportunities
7. Having a full understanding of the regulatory obligations and liabilities that come with the role of Finance Director of a regulated entity and ensuring oversight of the associated financial risks and mitigation of any issues
8. Developing and maintaining appropriate pricing governance frameworks
About You
9. 8 years plus PQE experience in relevant FP&A roles
10. Financial leadership experience, with a curious and proactive outlook to problem resolution
11. Strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication, organisation and project management skills
12. Proven ability to build relationships, influence, and communicate effectively managing multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership
13. Ability to interface regularly with Business leaders and articulate complex issues and solutions
14. Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce and uses differences in perspective and / or style to add value to decision making and organizational success
