What is the opportunity?
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner, who would be working with our development squads, building solutions that help businesses realise their objectives.
The ideal candidate should share a passion for product ownership - managing roadmaps, managing stakeholder expectations, prioritising features, ability to manage feature priority with the ability and capacity of squads.
The candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, as they will be working closely with various stakeholders with varied skillsets and different capabilities.
The Enterprise Integration teams have a good mix of cross-functional people spread across different locations and interact with various stakeholders on a regular basis.
You will work with the business streams in identifying, gathering requirements and decomposing requirements into a well-defined/refined backlog.
In this Role, you will Work with the leadership, business streams, and other product owners to contribute to the overall business vision, translating the vision into a clear API roadmap of prioritised items.
Communicate the vision/roadmap to the agile squads.
Drive the epic/user story creation, providing adequate description, capturing clear acceptance criteria, and calling out dependencies - ensuring a well-groomed product/sprint backlog is available for the engineering team.
Enable a rapid and effective feedback loop between the engineering team and other stakeholders.
Be a stage gate - ensuring stories meet definition of ready and definition of done, accepting stories as complete, and holding teams accountable for quality.
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the development process.
Champion Agile methodologies and continuous improvement within the tech product team.
Ensure the product adheres to technical, security, and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills & Experience Current experience working as a product owner (preferably in the financial domain) with agile development squads.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong inter-personal, communication and negotiation skills, with good experience in setting and managing stakeholder expectations.
Experience of working with leadership teams and business stakeholders.
Be a strong motivator/guide to the engineering squad.
What will make you stand out?
Product owner/product management certifications.
Knowledge of API or experience of working on API.
Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Prior experience in Finance/Banking.
