The purpose of this role is to design and develop training packages for regulatory assessors of human medicine throughout the European Network. This role will provide you with an opportunity to put your own stamp on educational processes and training development at European level.
You will collaborate with project managers, regulatory subject matter experts, regulatory expert groups and committees, the European network training centre team and other stakeholders to design engaging learning experiences and digital content
Short Role Overview:
1. Contribute to activities for capability development both at a national and international level
2. Collaborate with SMEs to gather insights to inform the development of instructional materials
3. Apply learning theories and design principles to create effective instructional design plans, including storyboards and evaluation plans
4. Develop e-Learning courses using appropriate software and authoring tools
5. Ensure accessibility of learning using UX and UDL design principles o Develop supporting materials, including learner guides, and downloadable versions of eLearning course content
6. Conduct information/training sessions on the devised instructional design process
7. Manage several small- to medium-scale projects in tandem (e.g. training course development, process evaluation)
8. Manage multiple streams of a large-scale project
9. Interpret learner data from learning analytics
10. Participate in the production of evidence-based approaches to training development
The Ideal Candidate
11. A postgraduate qualification in Education, Healthcare, Psychology or other relevant discipline
12. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant industry
13. Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and best practice in the postgraduate education sector and digital learning technologies
14. Demonstrated capacity to convert evidence based best practices in education to practical and implementable educational initiatives
15. Advanced IT capability with MS products, online development tools, accessibility requirements and an understanding of Learning Management Systems
16. Familiarity with a range of learning technology tools and generative AI
17. Availability to travel: Some EU travel may be required
