Additionally, you will spearhead efforts to optimize POS, source sustainable materials, and enhance resource efficiency across operations. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help embed environmental stewardship into the heart of our business and ensure measurable progress toward our sustainability goals.Requirements· In this role, you will lead initiatives across CPM accounts to achieve a 50%+ reduction in carbon emissions by increasing HVO-compliant and Electric vehicles in our fleet.· You will drive the launch of our ISO 14001:2015-certified Environmental Management System (EMS)· You will be responsible for managing the company fleet & assets· Keeping up to date with all relevant legislation and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations and any industry-specific developments.· Ensuring a thorough working knowledge of all HSE legislation and any changes that impact the employer’s industry.· Leading in-house training sessions for managers and employees to promote a culture of safety.· Outlining and implementing safe operational procedures that identify and mitigate all relevant hazards, and effectively communicating these procedures to all employees.· Maintaining detailed records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.· Keeping thorough records of incidents and accidents, and generating statistical reports for management review.· Conducting regular inspections of warehouses and offices to ensure policies and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to.· Making necessary changes to working practices to enhance safety and ensure compliance with current legislation.· Performing comprehensive risk assessments and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks.· Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and conducting regular drills to ensure readiness.· Conducting periodic safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.· Working closely with other departments to integrate health and safety practices into all aspects of the business.· Promoting health and wellness initiatives within the workplace to improve overall employee well-being.· Monitoring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, and taking corrective actions when necessary.· Preparing and presenting detailed reports on health and safety performance to senior management.· H&S legal compliance - Manual Handling, Chemical Safety, Driver Safety, Warehouse safety, Fire Safety etc· Support implementation of H&S policies & Auditing compliance with same· Liaise with Insurers on accidents/ incidents · Project mgt and reporting on sustainability commitments given in recent renewals · Cost control & reduction - Mitigate cost creep on assets - introduce governance and controls and audit compliance and delivery of cost reduction initiatives.Benefits• Basic Salary - €38,000 - €44,000• Flexible working conditions • Employee Assistance Program • Subsidised Personal Development opportunities• Employee Assistance Program • IVF Support Policy • Pension Support • Health Insurance Discounts • Paid Maternity & Paternity• Length of Service • Birthday Recognition • Referral Scheme • Awards and Recognition • Educational Support Fund • Study Leave • Structured Development ProgramsCPM place great importance on the training and development of our people.
