Job Description
Resource Demand Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Demand Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Dublin. Owing to the nature of the projects, the role will suit someone with experience of managing organizational transformation on large scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilisation and demobilisation strategy to meet the resourcing needs of a large complex programme of work.
2. Monitor and report on the implementation of the strategy.
Monitoring and Reporting
1. Establish and implement a performance monitoring strategy, with the assistance of the project management office, to regularly assess productivity, redundancy, capacity and risks associated with the service provided by teams.
2. Generate insight from the data captured which will allow for actions and interventions to maintain the effectiveness of the teams against organisational and project objectives.
Team/Organisational Engagement
1. Engage with teams to understand service risks and opportunities in which long term resource pipeline strategies can be established.
2. Support the retention and/or controlled scaling up/down of resources in keeping with the project service demands.
3. Support teams undergoing a transformation phase regarding mobilisation/demobilisation.
Resourcing Activities
1. Engage directly with the corporate resourcing/recruitment teams to identify, secure and screen appropriately skilled, qualified and experienced personnel for roles.
2. Coordinate the review and interview process of new candidates onto the project to support a timely onboarding process.
3. Support the efficient transfer of resources to other roles in the project or back into the organisation to facilitate a high utilisation metric.
Collaboration and Coordination
1. Work closely with various teams to ensure efficient coordination of resource mobilization efforts.
2. Engage in organizational brand building and develop collateral materials to support fundraising.
Qualifications
Educational Background
1. A Master’s degree in International Development, Strategic Management, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
1. At least ten years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of three years in a senior role.
2. Proven ability to engage with the client and a diverse range of delivery partners.
Skills
1. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
2. Strong leadership, coordination, and relationship-building abilities.
3. Knowledge of development issues, strategies, and programming policies.
4. Process driven approach to managing data and information.
Additional Skills
1. Familiarity with grant management and monitoring and evaluation practices.
2. Understanding of development policy research and issues related to inclusive growth and sustainable development.
3. Has experience in the large scale mobilisation and/or demobilization of teams to meet demand.
