The RoleThis role will be based in the Audit department in the Company's Dublin office and will report into the senior audit leadership team.
The main responsibilities include the following:
Complete audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, either remotely or on site at client premises.
Assist in planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation.
Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high-level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager.
Plan the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.
Deliver the highest quality auditing services to our clients.
Collaborate as part of a team to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.
Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with your audit clients, ensuring they are informed and always satisfied, not just during the audit process but throughout the year.
Research and solve technical queries from clients.
Assist in the preparation and reviews of financial statements in full compliance with Irish GAAP.The Ideal CandidateHave started and are on track to achieve ACA or ACCA qualifications.
At least 1-2 years' experience working in practice.
A passion to provide the very best client experience.
Excellent attention to detail and technical skills.
Knowledge of business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
An effective and motivated team player.
Self-starter who can critically analyze and assess information.
