Cork, County Cork, Ireland Corporate FunctionsAdd to Favorites Accommodations Business PartnerDescriptionProvide support to People (HR) team, managers and employees on a myriad of issues including:Reasonable workplace accommodationsMedical Leaves of absenceGuiding and facilitating the absence management process.Manage communication flow from multiple sources in effort to reduce delays on employee requests for assistanceProvide support for Apple internal partners, like People Accessibility, Facilities and EH&S to streamline workplace accommodation processes/supportCreate and manage a high volume of workplace accommodation & leave cases to ensure data integrityReview on a monthly/quarterly basis to assess where action can be taken to identify trendsCreate and deliver training for managers and People team on workplace accommodationsReview and simplify processes where applicablePartner with Occupational Health to ensure a streamlined and expert processPartner with Benefits providers to ensure timely and supportive review of long term health issuesSupporting or leading projects/initiatives as needed.Minimum QualificationsSignificant human resources experience with a speciality focus in workplace accommodations.Deep knowledge and expertise of Ireland & UK employment law, with knowledge of employment equality legislation. Experience collaborating across multiple business partners in a large matrix organisation.Ability to drive innovative resolutions on a wide range of leave and workplace accommodations issues.Experience in triaging and analysing multiple accommodations requests.Experience in guiding and facilitating the absence management process.Proven ability to work independently, including the ability to effectively coordinate, prioritize, and balance multiple assignments simultaneouslyStrong collaborator, able to provide advice in a standalone role while partnering closely with other teams within the People functionAbility to simplify complex issues for different audiences including People (HR) teams, managers and employees.Ability to express thoughts in a clear and concise manner to influence others.Proven ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with leadership, internal and external partners and People team (HR) colleagues.Demonstrable experience of using judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and employees alikeOutstanding communication skills including effective listening, writing and presentation.Preferred QualificationsWorkday knowledge is a plus.ServiceNow case management experience is a plus.Foundational understanding of HR analytics and experience with HR systems & tools is essential.Resourceful, inventive, self-motivated and able to independently lead
