Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Contracting Department professional to join our team and work on major municipal and industrial design-build projects in Ireland.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure thorough knowledge of project deliverables and contractual requirements.
* Report to and communicate with the Project Manager, taking ownership of delegated tasks and duties.
* Engage with design and drawing departments in preparing and submitting design submissions to clients.
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to meet project procurement requirements.
* Support the Project Manager in managing project delivery within defined budget and programme requirements.
* Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
* Manage site activities, including planning, installation, commissioning, performance validation, and handover to clients.
* Ensure compliance with company safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
* Take a leadership role in managing health and safety on site.
Requirements
* B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in project management of MEICA teams in a similar environment.
* Practical experience in managing construction site teams and comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to motivate others, delegate tasks, and prioritize workload efficiently.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
* Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
