Private Equity - Valuations & OperationsThe FirmAn exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading global private markets investment manager for a finance professional to step into a high impact role that bridges investment operations, valuation oversight and reporting for a sophisticated portfolio of direct private equity investments.You will collaborate closely with investment, finance and technology teams to ensure best-in-class reporting, valuation governance and strategic portfolio insight.This is a rare opportunity to join a high performing global investment platform in a role that offers visibility, responsibility and room for strategic contribution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and delivery of internal and external portfolio reports, performance dashboards and investor updatesMonitor financial and operational KPIs across direct PE investments and ensure reporting accuracy and consistencyDrive automation and standardisation of data collection, reporting workflows and reconciliation processesValuation Support & OversightSupport quarterly and annual valuation cycles in collaboration with investment teams and external valuation advisorsReview and enhance valuation models (DCF, comps, transaction multiples), ensuring compliance with internal fair value frameworksAct as a key contact for audit and valuation review processesPlatform Development & Strategic InitiativesContribute to the build-out of operational processes and reporting tools to support scale and efficiencyWork with technology partners to implement and refine data, reporting and valuation systemsMentor junior colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing within the operations teamProcess & Stakeholder CoordinationManage portfolio company data collection and validation, supporting accurate reporting and timely decision-makingCollaborate with fund administrators, auditors and tax advisors to support fund operationsRespond to investor-related queries and ensure timely, high-quality information flowRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline4–7 years of experience in private equity operations, valuations, or investment reporting, ideally with exposure to direct investmentsDeep understanding of PE fund structures and valuation methodologiesHighly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI), Snowflake or Anaplan is advantageous.Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management ability, and a proactive mindsetSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinanceIndustriesInvestment Management
