**Job Title:** Commissioning Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team on an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will be based five days a week at one of our Pharmaceutical sites, where they will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute commissioning plans for new and existing equipment and systems, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Perform equipment start-up and troubleshooting, identifying and resolving issues to ensure proper operation.
* Document commissioning activities and results in a clear and concise manner, facilitating future reference and audit trails.
* Develop and execute qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for equipment, utilities, and systems, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards.
* Ensure that all qualification activities meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.
* Analyze qualification data and prepare comprehensive reports, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; an Advanced degree is preferred.
* Experience in commissioning within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is essential, as is experience with commissioning, qualification, and validation of biopharmaceutical equipment and systems.
* Field experience of HVAC and utilities (back/clean) is required to ensure the successful execution of commissioning activities.
