As an experienced Sales Executive with Sheehy Motors Carlow, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and growth of both new and used Volkswagen vehicles. Your expertise in understanding customer needs, your in-depth knowledge of the industry, and your exceptional sales skills will contribute to achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing product information, and delivering a premium buying experience to both existing and potential Volkswagen customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement: Proactively engage potential customers, understanding their preferences, needs, and budgets to recommend Volkswagen vehicles that align with their requirements.
2. Consultative Selling: Provide expert product knowledge and information about Volkswagen vehicles, highlighting their features, performance, and benefits to guide customers in their purchase decisions.
3. Sales Target Achievement: Work towards achieving or exceeding monthly and yearly sales targets, contributing significantly to the overall revenue of the dealership.
4. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and post-sale follow-ups.
5. Product Presentation: Conduct detailed product presentations and test drives, effectively showcasing the unique attributes of Volkswagen vehicles to prospective buyers.
6. Negotiation and Closing: Handle negotiations professionally, addressing customer concerns and objections while striving to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Close sales transactions efficiently.
7. Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and approaches accordingly.
8. CRM Utilization: Efficiently use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage customer interactions, track leads, and monitor follow-up activities.
9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the sales team, management, and various departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and to address customer inquiries.
10. Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities for upselling accessories, packages, and additional features to enhance the value of the sale.
11. Paperwork and Documentation: Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork, contracts, and documentation related to sales transactions.
12. Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with new Volkswagen models, features and industry advancements through training and self-directed learning.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven track record of success in automotive sales. Prior experience within the VW network would be a distinct advantage.
2. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. In-depth knowledge of automotive trends, technologies, and features.
5. Customer-centric approach with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
6. Proficiency in using sales management software and CRM systems, preferably Keyloop (Kerridge).
7. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Salary Package:
The competitive salary package for this role will include a base salary along with attractive commission and bonus structures.
