The Technical Development Specialist plays a crucial role in driving scientific and technical support for manufacturing across the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead R&D projects to develop sustainable products, aligning with strategic goals and product development objectives.
* Establish strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industrial partners to source materials, drive innovation, and support strategic development objectives.
* Promote process and quality improvements through strategic continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to operational excellence and customer-focused innovation.
* Optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues, ensure quality, and develop SOPs in collaboration with operations.
* Plan and execute measurable commercial and technology transfer projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and strategic objectives.
* Mentor junior staff, support technical and development initiatives, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation across departments and functions.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science, preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum two years' experience in industry.
* Strong knowledge of GMP, Lean Principles, analytical methods, and PMF.
* Excellent communication, research, and presentation skills.
* Attention to detail in compliance with product certification and standards.
* Ability to work effectively in teams and relate to people at various operational levels.
* Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Estimated Salary Range:
$60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
