About the Role:
As a key member of our Demand Generation team, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact integrated lead generation campaigns that directly support our organisation's ambitious growth objectives. In this role, you will spearhead marketing initiatives across Ireland and Strategic accounts, focusing on driving pipeline expansion through carefully crafted multi-channel demand generation strategies that are aligned with sales teams. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the UK at least twice a quarter.
Role accountabilities and responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and optimise comprehensive brand awareness and demand generation campaigns that deliver qualified leads and measurable revenue impact.
* Work collaboratively with sales leadership to establish alignment on revenue targets and lead quality metrics.
* Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies (1to1, 1tofew, 1to many) incorporating digital advertising, content marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and events.
* Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and provide data-driven recommendations to continuously improve ROI.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure marketing activities effectively support business objectives.
* Stay current with market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation in campaign approaches.
* Understand Zellis’ product and services portfolio and how it fits the Irish and Strategic account market.
* Feed back competitive intel to the rest of the marketing team and sales teams.
* Manage the relevant marketing budget.
Skills & experience
Essential Skills/behaviours:
* Campaign Development & Execution – 5 years+ experience and proven ability to design and implement multi-channel demand generation campaigns that deliver measurable ROI and pipeline growth.
* Digital Marketing Expertise – Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels including paid media, email, content syndication, and account-based marketing strategies. Experience in managing a digital marketing budget with demonstrable ROI.
* Data-Driven Decision Making - Experience analysing campaign performance data and using insights to optimise marketing initiatives and demonstrate business impact. Ability to show how the insights have led to specific actions.
* Marketing Technology Proficiency - Skilled in using marketing automation platforms and CRM systems to execute, track, and report on marketing activities. Proven experience in setting up nurture campaigns.
* Strategic-Tactical Balance - Ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing strategies while managing tactical execution of multiple campaigns.
* Sales Alignment - Exceptional collaboration skills with ability to partner effectively with sales teams to establish and achieve shared revenue targets.
* Adaptability & Innovation - Proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving problems, and adjusting strategies based on market feedback and performance data.
Critical competencies:
* Marketing Automation Platforms - Advanced proficiency in at least one major platform (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua) with 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring campaigns, building workflows, and optimising performance.
* CRM Systems - Strong working knowledge of a CRM with 2+ years of experience in campaign tracking, lead management, and sales pipeline reporting.
* Digital Advertising Platforms - Demonstrated expertise with LinkedIn, Google Ads, and programmatic advertising platforms.
* Analytics Tools - Proficient in Google Analytics, marketing attribution tools, and data visualization platforms with 2+ years of experience generating actionable insights.

In this role, success will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver increased brand awareness, high-quality leads that convert to pipeline opportunities and revenue, while establishing marketing as a trusted strategic partner to the sales organisation.
