Jameson International Brand Ambassador / Jameson GraduateThe Jameson International Brand Ambassador Programme with Irish Distillers, a Pernod Ricard Company, offers candidates the opportunity to work as a Jameson Brand Ambassador in an international market, working alongside our Pernod Ricard colleagues. As part of the Jameson International Marketing Team (IMT) you will join the local Pernod Ricard marketing team in the country you will be based. As a Jameson Brand Ambassador, you will kick start your career in marketing & hone your commercial skills, working for the world’s bestselling Irish whiskey brand abroad. For many it will be the first step on a lifelong journey within Irish Distillers or Pernod Ricard.Following an immersive 3-weeks of induction, where you visit our Head Office, Bottling Operations in Dublin, the Jameson Distillery Experience in Dublin, and the Midleton Distillery and the the Irish Whiskey Academy in Cork, you will travel to the the international market location of your placement & work across a wide range of marketing activities such as brand activation, event planning, brand education, mentoring & sales and marketing. You will work with your local Pernod Ricard team and off your own initiative, & be on first name terms with bartenders, distributors, partner agencies & event organisers. You will be managed a marketing leader from Pernod Ricard and will be supported and developed by our Jameson International Brand Ambassador Team based in DublinIn addition to International opportunities, as part of our Programme, we also offer marketing & brand ambassador positions in our Global Marketing team based in Ballsbridge in Dublin. These have included roles in Communications & Creativity ( Social ), Brand Ambassador ( West of Ireland & Dublin ) and Marketing Assistant in our Portfolio Activation Team. What does the role of Jameson International Brand Ambassador involve? 80-90% field based:You’ll share your new-found whiskey wisdom with new faces all around the world, educating consumers, distributors & sales teams about the history, heritage & craft credentials of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Supporting the brand’s creative activities will keep your days varied & exciting.10-20% office based:Supporting your local Pernod Ricard marketing team in the planning, execution & evaluation of Jameson activations will bring both you & the brand to new places. This will encompass certain formalities, including expenses, monthly reports, and market insights.Core areas of the role include:Brand Education - Support local sales team in educating staff in key trade accounts with a focus on bartender education in key outlets. Conduct tastings / education for groups of key influencers & target consumers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Jameson brand history, heritage & production process. Brand Activation - Collaborate with local brand and sales teams to identify and execute a range of brand activations. From events to unique experiences, work within the local brand plan to build brand awareness, drive and create brand development opportunities in relevant spaces. Cultural Advocacy - Engage with the local cultural landscape by connecting with key figures in the community, including musicians, creators, and other cultural connectors. Collaborate with this community to authentically drive brand awareness.Content Creation - Draw on your creative side to capture on-brand content to share on local & global brand channels.Share of Mind - Ensure the Jameson brand is front of mind both internally within Pernod Ricard across the globe and also externally with our consumers.
