Job Title:Collections Planner Department:Transport Operations Reports To:Operations Manager Location:Lusk, Co. Dublin Our Ideal Person Are you well organised and have good attention to detail looking to join a growing, progressive company who has a high level of commitment to customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will need to be constantly on the ball adjusting live operations as required and be able to communicate effectively with our drivers. You will work within the transport team and will involve all aspect of the transport administration processes and coordination. Duties and Responsibilities Day operations oversight: As part of this role, you'll be keeping a watchful eye on the operation live each day. Each day our customers send bookings to us for collections of there product around Ireland. The role of the collection planner is to organise these collections in a timely and cost-efficient manner from the fleet available within Ireland that day. The role requires the collection planner to have a good geographical knowledge of Ireland. The hours of work are 10am to 8pm working 1 in 3 weekends. Knowledge, skills and experience required Previous experience of working within the transport industry. Previous customer service experience essential, over the telephone and on email. Attention to detail. Ability to communicate at all levels. Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload. Working to deadlines. Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
