Duties and Responsibilities: Construction project cost control, cost management, and cost planning experience and skills. BOQ management and excellent cost reporting abilities to various levels of company management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail, to be self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative when required along with professional level of role organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in using business management systems and relevant software/tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Teams. Experience with Cubit would be beneficial. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to work with people at all levels and to work within a team in a proactive manner as needed. Quantity surveying, construction financial monitoring and excellent project measurement experience. Previous experience with managing and coordinating more than one project at the same time as per future company requirements. Contract & procurement management and project budget/cost control expertise. Excellent construction commercial awareness, mind-set, and business acumen. Proficiency in effective negotiation Estimation of projects and the development of pricing documents and work packages. Valuation, negotiation and timely agreement of project variations, instructions, and price & programme adjustments. Proven ability in administration, adherence and interpretation of construction contracts and the management of contractual obligations. Experience with project risk management processes and strategies. Attending various meetings with clients, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers internal teams and internal management as required. Qualifications A relevant third level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management. Relevant Professional certifications/licenses are a plus (A member of or working towards membership of Chartership with SCSI and/or RICS is beneficial). 6+ years post-graduate experience with similar sector projects Ability to achieve and meet demanding time and quality targets to deliver project requirements and milestones. Experience in procuring, managing and closing-out subcontractor accounts and contractual packages. Ability to award packages, process interim payments for suppliers and subcontractors in line with project requirements. Good people skills and communication ability with a can do and one team attitude and supportive approach Resourceful & adaptable in demanding situations and positive/strategic problem-solving experience Excellent record keeping, project cost and value reporting and strategic relationship building ability with cross functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Proficient ability in monitoring the anticipated final project cost and value outcomes and reporting this in timely and professional approach A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant skills and knowledge as required by the company. A good relationship building competency and proactive approach to maintaining important working relationships with clients, supply chain and project delivery partners is required. Experience in fit out and building works is essential.
