Job Description:
Our client is an established specialist in cleanroom construction, HVAC services, heat recovery and carbon emission reduction projects, as well as general mechanical and electrical services.
The company services clients across various industry sectors, including Bio Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Electronics, Food & Dairy and Data Centre/Light Industrial sectors.
This role reports to the Company Director panel and works closely with all project stakeholders, collaborating with the Estimating Department and project delivery teams.
Key responsibilities include project engineering submissions, value engineering, project scheduling, progress reporting, resource deployment, project procurement and materials management, project build review, interaction with co-contractors, project commercial management, cost control and cost recovery for contract and variation works, procurement of follow-on work orders, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's (Honours) Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is required. Additionally, at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in the industrial construction sector are necessary. A strong commercial management background and awareness are essential, along with construction and site management experience in the mechanical services or related sector. Excellent presentation and IT skills are also required, as well as a positive attitude and passion to succeed, and the ability to contribute comfortably on the management team.
