Job Summary:
BrookLodge Hotel is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Receptionist to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for our guests, managing reception staff, and supporting the Front Office Manager in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate the Front Office team, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
2. Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
3. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.
4. Ensure all reservations and billing procedures are carried out correctly.
5. Assist with training and support for reception Crew while maintaining high team morale.
6. Assist in scheduling and rostering staff to ensure optimal coverage.
7. Monitor and maintain front desk procedures, ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
8. Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
9. Assist the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks and reporting.
10. Uphold health & safety, and security procedures within the department.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment.
2. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Hotel Management software systems an advantage.
4. A proactive and guest-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6. A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
