Accommodation Manager Opportunity at the 4* Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. The Bracken Court Hotel is part of the Moriarty Group which is an Irish owned company involved in both the retail grocery and hospitality industries. The company currently comprises of 2 four-star hotels, The Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, and the Court Yard Hotel, in Leixlip, Co. Kildare and also 3 Super Valu Stores, situated in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown, Dublin 20. The company currently employees 550 people across the group. We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Accommodation Manager to join our professional and highly skilled housekeeping team. The Role: This is full-time position working 42.5 hours per week/ 5 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays. Main Duties: Work in conjunction with the Hotel Manager/Management Team in the day to day operations of the hotel. Overall Management of the day to day operations of the accommodation department. Manage and co-ordinate thehousekeeping team to ensure that all bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned/maintained to the highest standard. Manage and co-ordinate the housekeeping team to ensure the cleaning of all public areas within the hotel. Work in conjunction with Front Office Manager and Reception Team to ensure that the overall guest experience and expectations are achieved. Providing excellent customer care to our guests at all times. Staff Training and development. Stock/supply ordering. Attending hotel meetings and complete action plans. Requirements: Previous experience as a Hotel Accommodation Manager/Supervisor is essential. Previous HACCP training would be desirable but is not essential. Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken. Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner. Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel. Excellent communications skills. Excellent people/customer acre skills. Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Must be available for early starts, weekends, and public holidays.
