A leading corporate law firm in Dublin 2 is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Dublin. This is a newly created role where you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
* Processing monthly payroll for employees, pensioners, and partners across multiple jurisdictions including Ireland, the UK, and the USA.
* Managing all payroll components, ensuring compliance with benefits, holiday pay, and statutory payments.
* Administering employee benefits and ensuring accurate payroll deductions.
* Ensuring payroll reconciliation, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll issues and streamline processes.
* Implementing legislative payroll changes and maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures.
* Acting as the primary contact for payroll-related queries and reporting.
Key Skills and Requirements :
* 5+ years in a payroll management role within a fast-paced environment.
* IPASS or equivalent payroll qualification.
* Strong knowledge of Irish payroll regulations, taxation, and employment law.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (experience with Access Payroll preferred).
* Proven track record in system implementation and process improvements.
* Ability to manage multiple payrolls and meet tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
