**Site Manager Position Summary**
This role oversees the workforce on a construction site, ensuring operations are conducted safely and efficiently in line with programme specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily site activities and subcontractor coordination.
* Liaise with head office to request materials and labour as needed.
* Conduct daily and weekly safety checks and ensure subcontractors adhere to safety protocols.
* Monitor the construction programme and facilitate subcontractor work according to their contract schedule.
* Ensure quality checks are performed at various build stages and QA checks are conducted.
* Liaise with local authorities and certifiers for completed phase handovers.
* Address day-to-day issues that may impact work progress.
* Liaise with project managers and quantity surveyors regarding budgets and milestones.
* Collaborate with junior staff, subcontractors, engineers, and external utility companies.
* Regularly update head office on progress and inform clients of upcoming milestones.
