Main Purpose of Role:
To provide a cost conscious and safe engineering service for a large semi state client on a Period contract.
To establish and promote best practice in health, safety and environmental matters in conjunction with the SHQE department.
Manage resources to complete works in a timely & safe manner while engaging with the client to ensure Murphy are professionally executing our role as PSCS
Role Duties:
Establish and promote best practice in health, safety and environmental matters in conjunction with the SHESQ department.
Complete Quality checks in line with company and project procedures.
Communicate with site crews & field resources to ensure full understanding of information provided.
Monitor the work under their control to ensure that any unsafe work conditions and noncompliance with Company policies and procedures are promptly remedied.
Maintain good working relations with the client & together with our supply chain.
Supporting the selection and requisition of materials and plant for the use in the construction process.
Support the team with written risk assessments and method statements for the control of the works.
Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes/variations, subcontractors' attendance, and records of work-related discussions with client / designer / project team.
Participate in, and positively promote, the Murphy Never Harm Programme.
Undertake any reasonable duties expected of you.
Ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures.
Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management.
KPI review of figures being processed, daily, weekly, monthly .
Qualifications & Skills At least 5 years, proven experience in co-ordinating high volume works in a variety of workstreams.
Ability to produce, implement and manage safe systems of work for construction procedures.
A ccountable for coordinating weekly and daily activities with the Site Foreman, Engineers & Other Site Staff.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and both internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring onsite systems comply with internal policies and regulatory standards in health & safety, wellbeing, environment, quality, and sustainability.
Overseeing that construction tasks adhere to the designer's drawings, and relevant specifications.
Proven people management skills including the management of subcontractors Proven client & Stakeholder management skills Excellent people skills with proven leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others Excellent communication, organisational, planning and time management skill
